It is located in a quiet small street in a strategic position to visit easily all major historical touristic places in Rome center: Piazza di Spagna and the shopping district (Via Condotti and Via Frattina) is 10 minutes walk away, you can reach the Vatican Museums, Fontana di Trevi, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona in 20 minutes on foot, just 30 minutes walk away from the Colosseum and Imperial Forums.
Nearest subway stop, Piazzale Flaminio, is just 200 meters away and Stazione Termini, the central railway station of Rome, is just at 4 metro stops.
The apartment is fully refurbished and furnished with everything you need to enjoy your stay: free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, air conditioning, washer dryer, iron and ironing table, dishwasher, Nespresso, American coffee machine, toaster, mixer and a microwave oven. For the babies, there are also 2 cradles and 1 high chair.
Cozy, spacious, comfortable and quiet; there are 3 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom and 3 restrooms (1 with bath tube and 2 with showers), the living room accommodates 8/9 people for dinner, the kitchen is complete and livable, the entrance is spacious and elegant.
Located on the mezzanine floor reachable with just 8 steps from the building entrance.
For the safety of guests and their belongings, the apartment is equipped with an anti-intrusion alarm that can be easily managed with the remote control supplied with the keys.
If requested by guests we can arrange:

- dedicated guided tours to archeology sites or museums
- dedicated guided tour of Pompeii
- tickets reservation for museums and theaters
- home dinner with chef

Rome was the first stop for our family vacation in Italy. Our red-eye flight arrived Rome in the morning. Donatella assisted with arranging transportation from the airport and allowed us to store our luggage in the apartment until check-in. The apartment was super clean and comfortable. Host also provided start-up provisions (coffee, milk, eggs, bread, snacks), which was super sweet and much appreciated. The location is also ideal, close enough to many attractions, but not so close to feel the crowd and noise. We truly enjoyed out stay.”

4 of us had an excellent time in Rome! The apartment was spacious and very clean. There are 3 bathrooms- 2 walk-in showers and one bathtub. The 3 main bedrooms have plenty of room to spread out and the smallest bedroom is very cozy. Donatella was so kind to stock the refrigerator and pantry for us and arrange transportation to/from the airport. The apartment is on the first floor and there are about 8 steps to enter the building. We can’t wait to come back!”

This is a great property. Very comfortable and located close to Piazza de Popolo and a short walk to the Spanish steps. Also two blocks from the metro and one block to a nice grocery. The rooms and beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed. Donatella is a gracious host. How nice to have a well-stocked fridge to tide you over after a long flight! Fantastic location, beautiful apartment, spacious, elegant, and on first floor! Donatella came to find us, which was just so sweet (we had the wrong address)! This was our last stop on a 2 week trip, we wanted to slow down and relax in style, what an amazing place. Four blocks from the Popolo, near the river, we walked eveywhere. The little cafes and ristorantes in the area were superb. We felt spoiled and sheltered, will stay here whenever in Rome.”

First, the apartment is even better than described. We stayed during a holiday trip and the Christmas tree was a beautiful touch. Also, as others have reported, Donatella is such a gracious host. She provided essentials like snacks, milk, eggs, bread and coffee...and a bottle of prosecco :) This was the 4th and final apartment on a multi city trip and I’m glad we ended at this place because it really would’ve made the other apartments disappointing after our stay here. We were 8 in total and had plenty of space. We came by train early and Donatella allowed us to drop the luggage off before check in so we wouldn’t have to drag it around or find a storage place. She has a table full of guidebooks and a personally written guide with local suggestions. She also arranged car service for us to the airport, which was so appreciated. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again and again. Thank you, Donatella!!”
“What can I say to add to all of the other wonderful reviews?! So many thoughtful touches, down to the toothpaste in every bathroom! The apartment is extremely spacious, apart from the small interior bedroom, which makes up for lack of space by being very quiet and dark. The main bathroom is fabulous. The kitchen has everything you need, together with plenty of wine glasses in the living room. The location is great for Piazza del Popolo and the Corso, and there’s a good Carrefour with excellent cheese selection just a block or so away. We had a fantastic holiday in Rome and were so lucky to have found Donatella’s fabulous apartment. Donatella had stocked the kitchen with all manner of goodies which were very much enjoyed. The apartment is in a great location and we were able to walk to all major attractions, finding surprises around every corner. Good restaurants aplenty, supermarket 2 minutes walk and underground 5 minutes. Fab fab fab - we had such fun and wish we could have stayed for longer.”

6 of us aged 11-70 had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment. It is well located near to the metro and many of the major attractions are walkable. There is lots of well thought out detail in every room and the kitchen was well stocked with food and drink which was very welcome after a day of travelling. The only small drawbacks were low water pressure which meant using the bath and one of the showers was a little difficult and street noise from outside the apartment which is to be expected given the central location. Donatella was a great host and was helpful with everything we needed including airport transfers. I would recommend the apartment to anyone looking to visit beautiful Rome.”

“Our stay in Rome was made complete and so much better because of the beautifully appointed and spacious apartment and wonderful hospitality of our host Donatella. The rooms were spotless and there were soooooo many extra lovely touches such as the fresh fruit, drinks and snacks, toothpaste, makeup wipes, cotton tips, assisting us by booking transfers to train station & airport to and from her apartment and the list goes on.... The Piazza del Popolo apartment is beautiful, spacious, incredibly clean and was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 children. Donatella is an amazing host - she had the apartment amazingly well stocked - much more than expected or than we’ve ever had on other rentals. The location is fantastic - two blocks from Flaminio station, the piazza and quick access to all the major sites by walking or metro. Donatella was incredibly helpful not only with tour information, but also when we had an emergency with my son’s asthma. She not only responded immediately with the contact information of both the children’s hospital and a pediatrician who would make a house call, but she even personally brought him over some gelato as a treat. “Beautiful Apartment in Ideal Central Rome Location
There were a group of 7 of us travelling to Rome to attend the Italy Vs France rugby international in March 2019. We stayed at Donatella’s beautiful apartment for 3 nights, right in the heart of the city but, far enough away not to be kept awake all night by revellers! 4 good sized bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - even with 7 staying there, it never felt you had to wait to get a shower - wash - or have a wee! Kitchen was functional and good for breakfast and there is a nice dining room table in the lounge where we had dinner on the first night. there are good small shops within 2-5 mins walk to get your essentials and luxury food and drink needs. Donatella was a very thoughtful and generous host, providing essentials for us, fruit, milk, yogurts which she didn’t have to do, and there was good advice in her local attraction book for lovely restaurants within 5-10 mins walk. Ideal for getting to key attractions eg Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain only 10-15 mins walk and Colosseum about 30-35 mins walk and 2 mins walk to the tram which took us to the Olympic Stadium for the rugby. She even arranged beautiful sunshine for us, short sleeves in spring. Marvellous - highly recommend and you can book with confidence.”

This is a lovely flat in a very quiet neighborhood near the Flaminio metro station, with a good grocery store and several restaurants nearby. It is spacious and elegant, with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in addition to the sitting/dining room, kitchen and a rather grand entrance hallway — perfect four our 3-generation family visit to Rome. It was generously equipped with bread, eggs, juices, sodas, beer, fruit, pastries and more, plus thoughtful touches like extra plug adapters. Donatella greeted us and was helpful with suggestions about nearby shopping and restaurants. We loved the location and felt very safe in the neighborhood. My only criticism is that the sofa end chairs are not very comfortable — but all the beds are, so that’s good!”

“This is a beautiful, spacious apartment in a great neighborhood, out of the most crowded, touristy areas, but very convenient to everything. The kitchen was amazingly well-stocked, and there were lots of thoughtful touches like guidebooks, umbrellas, electric converters, and q-tips and toothpaste in the bathrooms. Donatella happily arranged airport transfers and dinner reservations for us.
There is currently some construction next door that makes sleeping past 8 a little challenging in the two side bedrooms but it was not a big problem for us. We loved it!”

It was a very nice apartment, bigger than expected. We were pleasantly surprised to find basic necessities like soap, shampoo, bread, milk, eggs, and other goodies to eat. This may not seem like much but I’ve stayed in other VRBO’s where not even hand soap was provided. The location was great. Very short walking distance from a metro station, shopping, and restaurants. The washer/dryer unit was also very useful, we used it a lot. I highly recommend this apartment. It was a great place to stay.”

“By far our best airbnb experience to date! Even before getting to Rome, Donatella was making sure we had the best experience possible. Donatella arranged transportation for TEN of us to and from the airport and was extremely responsive to inquiries. Our planes came in quite late and finding an extremely well-stocked kitchen —complete with lots of fresh fruit— was a wonderful surprise. In addition to the whole home being immaculate, each bathroom had the necessities and supplies I’ve never seen another host provide before. This was such a great experience for our family and we can’t praise Donatella and her home enough!”
“Donatella’s apartment is a fantastic base for a holiday in Rome. It is easy walking distance to most sights and we barely used the metro (short walk from the apartment) as we chose to walk. The apartment itself is fantastic and had plenty of room for our group of 7 adults and 3 one year old infants. Donatella provided us with the cots that we asked for and included extra touches like soft toys, bibs, child cup and bowl. The refrigerator and pantry were stocked with supplies which we greatly appreciated, the bathrooms had everything we might need including toothpaste! We were even welcomed with a vase of fresh flowers on the dining table. We have nothing but thanks and praise - Donatella is truly a super host and we were very glad that we chose to stay in her apartment and will not hesitate to recommend it to others.”
“From the start, Donatella was friendly, clear, detailed and timely in all of our communications. She made special arrangements for our arrival and departure, and assisted with transportation to and from the Airport (just 30 min away.) Donatella also provided a contact for local tours and made recommendations for attractions and nearby restaurants. Chiara greeted our party on arrival and helped us during our stay and departure process. She was also very warm, welcoming, and quick to respond. The apartment itself was as listed but far exceeded expectations. It was a comfortable size and layout for our extended family of 8. Not only was it beautiful inside and out, but conveniently located as well. The metro, restaurants, nearby market and shopping were all within walking distance. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The kitchen was stocked with beverages, snacks and fruit. We enjoyed the coffee very much and appreciated the special attention made for food allergies and personal preferences. The bathrooms had all of the essentials. The washer/dryer and iron came in handy as well. This was our first Airbnb experience. Thanks for making it such a wonderful and memorable one! We can’t wait to return. Grazie Mille!”
“An incredible stay in Rome with a fantastic superhost. A must stay! Don’t miss the opportunity to relax in this beautiful Airbnb. It is bright, spacious, renovated, and fully equipped with all the amenities, and then some. Located on a quiet street, and walkable to most attractions. The host was prompt during correspondences and even helped us arrange transportation from the train station. Our family of five found this “home away from home” to be the most comfortable stay during our adventure in Italy. Would highly recommend it and would certainly stay again. True luxury!”
“Donatella’s home is very nice and warm . Donatella is a super host, she goes all the way to put in the details to make her guests to have a comfortable stay at her place. She stock up foods, drinks, fruits and etc for our breakfast. The quantity is more than sufficient for 7 of us for our 4 nights stay. The toilets are well equipped with shampoos, conditioners, body wash and more. The TV in the living room is with VOD to keep the children busy with their favorite animation movies and etc whenever we are back to the apartment. The kitchen are well equipped with all the necessary utensils. You can make your coffee from the drip type of coffee machine or from the Nespresso machine. Coffee powder and capsules are provided. They are more but please find out yourselves. I would said that what you are going to find out are all about the nice thoughts she put in to make her guests feel at home. Location wise, it’s very central, you can reach to most places of interest within walking distance. Vatican is just within 15 euros taxi fare from the apartment. I highly recommend her place for people who like to have a good holidays in Rome with the comfort of a home.”

We have always been pleased, but this apartment was better than anyone else we’ve stayed in. The apartment is very centrally located in Rome, and you can walk to most attractions.
